The Tester Recertification Exam is for currently certified testers in the fifth year of their current certification term.

Important Information 

• For qualified Backflow Assembly Testers who need to recertify for 5 years.
• Please ensure that you have registered for the course with UAPICBC BEFORE registering for the exam here.
• Your exam fee includes a one-year membership with the BC Water & Waste Association (BCWWA) upon passing the cross connection control certification examination. Learn more about the valuable professional benefits of being a member!

Challenging an Exam

If you would like to challenge this Recertification Exam without taking the Cross Connection Control refresher course, you will first need to reserve a seat and pay all applicable exam sitting fees to Okanagan College prior to registering for this exam.

Lapsed Certification

If you currently hold a tester certification that has lapsed for more than one (1) year past the expiry date, you will need to pass the Tester Certification Exam, not this Tester Recertification Exam, to reactivate your tester certification.
