Despite a significant challenge introduced with the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to see the competition through to the end and recognize these competitors for their hard work. Thank you to all teams that entered for your participation, adaptability, and perseverance, the judges were impressed with the standard of presentations!
Team CIVVIC is the first team to apply to the BCWWA SDC from the University of Victoria in the 8 years of this competition. Following their historic win, they will go on to attend the 48th BCWWA Annual Conference and Trade Show in Penticton, BC from November 2 – 4, 2020. They will also compete at the Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) Student Design Competition in New Orleans, Louisiana, from October 3 – 7, 2020.
