WATER FOR PEOPLE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES

Water for People-Canada (WFP-C) is a charitable, non-profit, international humanitarian organization dedicated to the development and delivery of clean, safe water and sanitation solutions in developing nations.

 

The BC (WFP-C) Committee is hosting its annual Silent Auction at the conference on November 2nd and 3rd. The committee is currently seeking donations for the auction, with all proceeds raised going directly to WFP-C to help provide water infrastructure in communities around the world.  For more information please visit https://www.waterforpeople.org/water-for-people-canada/

‘BEST OF THE BEST’ TAP WATER TASTE TEST 

 

Date: Wednesday, November 4, 2020 

Time: 9:30 - 10:30 am

 

The competition format mirrors wine tasting, where a panel of impartial judges sample and judge water samples based on appearance, aroma, taste, mouth feel, aftertaste and overall impression. Stop by on Wednesday morning to see who will be crowned as having the “Best of the Best” Tap Water in BC and Yukon. This is one event you won’t want to miss!

 

Enter before October 2, 2020

British Columbia and Yukon drinking water providers are invited to submit a drinking water sample. Judging will take place the morning of Wednesday, November 4, with the winner announced at the BCWWA Awards Lunch immediately after the taste test. There is no cost to compete, however, registration is required for participation.
