Keynote Speaker Announced:

Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Simulation: The Path Forward in Hands-On Operator Training

Ever wondered what a video-game version of a wastewater treatment plant would be like? Join Spencer Snowling from Hydromantis for a fun, engaging and hands-on session and learn how simulators are used to teach activated sludge concepts through hands-on experimentation.

Spencer Snowling is VP of Product Development at Hydromantis, leads the development of the wastewater treatment plant simulator SimuWorks, and is an adjunct professor at McMaster University in the Department of Civil Engineering.  He will be discussing the history of modelling and simulation in the wastewater design and consulting world, and how simulators are now becoming popular tools for operator training.
