Registration is now open for BCWWA's 2020 Virtual Conference & Trade Show!
Join us on November 3rd and 4th for our 2-day conference & trade show hosted entirely online. This engaging and interactive event experience will feature a keynote address from astrophysicist Natalie Panek; informative and credited education sessions led by leading experts of water and wastewater; round table room discussions, panel discussions and chat rooms; an interactive trade show with over 30 virtual exhibitors; as well as ample opportunities to connect directly with fellow attendees throughout the conference.
No one is able to attend all live sessions during a conference. If you weren’t able to attend all the education sessions you wanted to during our 2-day virtual event, or you ran out of time to visit all the exhibitors, we’ve got you covered. One of the benefits of our virtual conference is that all presentations are recorded! The content of the conference will be available on-demand for 60 days to all our registered delegates. Delegates can even continue earning CEU credits by attending education sessions up until the end of December, 2020.
For our operator delegates, CEUs will be tracked with your attendance at education sessions. You will be able to download a report of your attendance credits (0.05 credits per half hour) to submit to EOCP.

About the Event
The BCWWA’s conference and trade show has always existed
exists for our industry to come together to connect, engage, learn and share. As a leader in delivering water knowledge, we strive to continue to offer content that is both relevant and innovative. Just as the water and wastewater sectors have shown their willingness to innovate through wastewater COVID surveillance, implementing remote work and physical distancing procedures, and creating new virtual channels to connect and share solutions globally with other utilities, the BCWWA’s 2020 Virtual Conference & Trade Show serves to reimagine what a virtual event is capable of.
While nothing can compare to the power of an in-person conference, unprecedented circumstances challenged everyone to find new ways to connect and learn. Now more than ever, it’s crucial that our industry get together to explore new solutions, perspectives and technologies.
We are confident that BCWWA’s 2020 Virtual Conference will provide a valuable and productive platform to connect with manufacturers and suppliers, network with colleagues, engage in educational sessions, and build your skills and industry knowledge.
Attendance Justification Toolkit
This year BCWWA has put together a toolkit to help you highlight the value of the virtual conference & trade show to your employer. In the face of reduced budgets and increased expenditure scrutiny, our association recognizes the challenges that come with securing approval for attending professional development events. We have created this kit to assist you in getting approval to attend our conference.
The toolkit includes:
Employer Approval Tips – p. 1
Benefits Worksheet – p. 2
Sample Letter to Employer – p. 3

OUR 2020 THEME: "SHARED PERSPECTIVES, CLEAR VISION"
The 2020 BCWWA Virtual Conference & Trade Show revolves around the idea of using these shared perspectives to gain a clear vision for the future. This theme showcases how diverse perspectives from different areas of the sector may offer complimentary solutions to common problems the industry is facing. Through reflecting on lessons learned and examining current practices, the water sector may begin to form a clear ‘20/20’ vision for what the future of water may hold.
