THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING!

Thank you for attending BCWWA's 2021 Virtual Conference & Trade Show. It was a truly memorable event. We hope you enjoyed the conference and we hope to see you all in-person in the near future when circumstances allow it.

ON-DEMAND STREAMING AFTER JUNE 11, 2021

After June 11, those who registered for the conference will be able to access recorded education sessions until July 30, 2021 through their account in PheedLoop. The only sessions that will not be available as on-demand recordings are the five specialty sessions.

While watching the recordings you will see a CEU pop-up window, similar to the one that appeared during the virtual conference. Once you have viewed the recorded sessions, you can download an updated attendance certificate from your Account in PheedLoop (see the next section in this email for instructions). You will not be credited for attendance at the same presentation twice.

ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATES FOR CEUS AND EDUCATIONAL HOURS

Your attendance report for any sessions you attended in PheedLoop can now be accessed from your PheedLoop Account. Once you’ve logged into PheedLoop, click ‘Account’ in the sidebar menu on the left and scroll down the right side of the page to ‘Attendance Certificate.’
If you attended specialty sessions in Remo and requested CEUs or education hours for them, or you did not see the CEU pop-up window in a PheedLoop session and advised one of our staff members, you will be sent a separate attendance report for those sessions from our staff team by June 10, 2021.

CONFERENCE THEME

Navigating Changing Tides: Reflecting | Learning | Adapting

This past year we encountered unprecedented challenges, but it was also a year of unmatched cooperation and adaptation. While many industries and services were shut down to slow the spread of the pandemic, water sector utilities continued to operate and deliver essential services to their communities. This year’s theme for the 2021 BCWWA Annual Conference & Trade Show showcases how the water industry has heroically risen to the challenge, creatively collaborating and innovating in new ways, and working together to promptly adapt to changes within the sector brought on by the pandemic.

With the theme “Navigating Changing Tides,” we reflect on the “tides” or, more literally, the changes experienced as well as the lessons learned in 2020. We look at how the obstacles the water sector faced – and continues to face – expose both alarming risks and exciting new opportunities. The goal is to reveal how the industry can utilize these difficult times as an opportunity to drive positive change by reevaluating safety protocols, implementing new technology, advocating for new infrastructure funding, or fostering new relationships within the sector. What new and emerging solutions may change the way we deliver water and wastewater services?

This event is an opportunity for water and wastewater professionals to come together virtually and reflect. Our aim is to help you discover and apply the lessons learnt from past and current challenges, to ensure the water community can continue to overcome any obstacle to deliver safe and reliable water services.
